If you are a class rep or involved in a club or society and wish to post announcements in the "Class Reps" section please get in touch and I will send you a password allowing you to post information there either of interest to your group or year or college.

This is not an official website of Mary Immaculate College. It is simply an alternative information website to the official websites in the College.

By the 31st of December 2008 the website had clocked up over 3,300 visitors in just over 7 months and 3 new pages were added (Links, B. Ed. 2 and Photos) to make it easier for people to find out what they were looking for. A few days later 3 more pages were added ; Miscellaneous, The Voice and Fun Stuff. On May 16th 2009 just under a year after the site was set up a social network site and forum was added to the site. Originally provided by Ning this site can be accessed from the link below:

The name of the website was finally chosen after an exhaustive competition. The winner who came up with the name is the renowned tennis coach from Carrigaline in Cork, Colin Gibson. Colin later graduated from Mary I with a B. Ed. honours degree. When asked about how he came up with the name he simply said "Spreagadh me lá amhain nuair a bhí mé ag leamh Hurlamabac i leacht Ghaeilge."

I came across this useful website which allows you to test your broadband speeds. Useful when checking out different broadband providers :
